Catalog your books. Borrow books from your friends and from others you follow.
Omnilegent is a personal library that becomes a shared library when you connect with other people you trust.
Track what you read and what you own, see what the people you follow are reading, and bring your Goodreads or StoryGraph library with you in one step. No lock-in, only a passion for reading.

What you can do
Borrow from people you know
Mark the books you own and the ones you want. When someone you know owns a book on your Wanted list, ask to borrow it. They're told on the site, and by email if they like, and contact details are shared only if they say yes, and only what each of you chooses.
Add a shelf in minutes
Scan barcodes with your phone's camera, or have it read the front cover of a book without one. Scan a whole pile, then add it all after one review.
Label your books
Print a QR sticker for any printed book you own, or whole sheets on standard labels from any printer. Each sticker opens that book's page.
Share a wishlist
One link for family and friends, no account needed. Whoever buys a book marks it "I'm getting this", so nobody buys it twice.
See your reading
Stats year by year, your library drawn as spines on a bookcase, and a picture of your year in books to share.
Read free classics
When a book is in the public domain, its page links to free editions at Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks, and to audiobooks at LibriVox.
How it's run
No ads, no affiliate links
Buy links go straight to the seller. Nothing is tracked, nothing is earned. The running costs are published as an itemized receipt.
Private by default
Your library is yours alone until you make it public. Others see your @handle, not your name, unless you choose to show it. Private notes never leave your own page, and feeds show exactly what your public page shows.
One title, every edition
Hardcover, paperback and e-book editions are grouped under one title, so each title shows once on your shelves. Covers and descriptions come from ISBNdb, Open Library and Google Books.
No lock-in
Export everything, any time, in one click: for Goodreads or StoryGraph, as JSON, or as citation files. Follow people with RSS or OPML from any reader you already use.
